Part-Time Photo Booth Assistant

R600–R2,500+ per week

Overview

Selfie Cube has provided photo booth hire services since 2016. We are seeking enthusiastic, tech-savvy individuals to join our team as part-time photo booth operators. As the face of our company at corporate activations, weddings, and private parties, you will be responsible for delivering the high standard of customer service that defines our brand.

Core Responsibilities

• Logistics: Collect equipment from our Randburg warehouse, transport it to the venue, and return it safely post-event.
• Physical Handling: Load, unload, and carry equipment weighing at least 25kg.
• Setup & Strike: Arrive 60 minutes prior to the event start time to assemble the booth; disassemble and pack up after the booking.
• Guest Engagement: Operate the booth during the event, ensuring guests are engaged and having a high-quality experience.
• Technical Support: Perform basic troubleshooting on computer software and hardware.

Requirements

• Availability: Must be available for both weekdays and weekends. Weekday availability is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
• Location: Must reside in Johannesburg.
• Transportation: Must own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license (non-negotiable for equipment transport).
• Driving: Comfortable driving distances up to a max 80km, often at night.
• Professionalism: Punctuality is mandatory. Candidates must be neat, presentable, polite, and responsive via WhatsApp.
• Commitment: We are looking for candidates interested in a long-term role.

Compensation Structure

R600 for a 2 hour event (minimum event hire time) and R150/h thereafter.

Note: During peak times, most operators do multiple events a week, and your earning potential will be determined by your availability.
